Divemaster

As with all of our courses at Dive Ski & Surf, the Divemaster Course is extremely flexible and affordable...

Theory

Book onto the Divemaster course, and receive your home study pack (DVD or books) and breifing to get you started. Your home study pack includes all the materials and instructions needed to complete the academics required to meet the Divemaster level. Our experienced Instructors & Divemasters are always available to ensure you receive the support you need.

Homework

You will be assigned two homework tasks: a mapping exercise of an open water site, and an emergency response plan for a local dive site. You will be given guidelines for both from your Instructor.

Confined water training

In the pool training modules you will learn to demonstrate skills to perfection. You also learn how to act as an instructional assistant on PADI diving courses.

Open water training

In the open water you will learn how to conduct the programs that Divemaster's are allowed to teach, such as Skindiving courses and Discover SCUBA experiences. You will also be taught how to act as an instructional assistant on PADI Open Water and continuing education courses. Your rescue abilities will be tested, and at the end of the course you will get to run your own program with an Instructor assessing your skills.
