Located on the north coast, Madang Province comprises of strips of lowlands and mountain ranges, a spectacular coastline, a string of fascinating volcanic islands and coral atolls. 

Just over an hour's flight from Port Morsby, Madang has two resorts offering a relaxing dive holiday. 
Madang offers diverse underwater attractions to divers from all over the world. From wrecks to soft corals, vertical drop offs, extensive species of fish life and beautifully delicate gorgonian fans. Dive trips are arranged on a daily basis to local sites.

Extended trips and safaris are also available to the fabulous coral reefs at Bagabag island and to Hansa Bay, 200 kilometres up the coast, with the famous wreck of the Shishi Maru.

 Madang and Jais Aben also offer many other activities. The Madang cultural centre gives great insight into some of Papua New Guniea's culture, and well worth a visit.

Located on a peninsular some 15 km north of Madang, is Jais Aben Resort.
